New Delhi: Festivals like Karwa Chauth are a moment to celebrate the happily married life & also cherish the bond of togetherness. On October 13, the nation celebrated the husband-wife festival with love & gaiety, with even Bollywood wives sharing photos of celebration with their husband.
On the occasion, a video from Ghaziabad also surfaced on social media and in no time became an internet sensation.
The reason behind – Husband had gone shopping in a mall not with his wife but with his girlfriend. Interestingly, while he was happily spending time at a multiplex with girlfriend, his wife landed there.
Already fuming & seething in anger, the wife took husband to task, held him by collar and started thrashing him in full public view.

In the video that went viral, wife & some of her friends can be seen grabbing the husband by collar and beating him up while the crowd watched with curiosity. Man’s girlfriend came to his rescue but she was also caned & thrashed by wife & her friends.
While the public watched the family chaos, the shopkeepers shouted ‘bahar, bahar’ as they didn’t them to spoil the festive shopping.
Wife has filed a complaint against the husband and police will probe the case.
According to reports, the husband and wife have been living separately for sometime. Wife was staying with her parents and came to mall on Karwa Chauth. It’s there she spotted her husband shopping with another woman and after that all hell broke loose.
Karwa Chauth is a Hindu festival celebrated mainly in North & West India. Married women keep fast on this day and pray for long life of their husbands.
