New Delhi: A picture of Indian cricket Rohit Sharma is being circulated on social media standing side by side with Deputy Commissioner of Assam Police Ponjit Dowarah.
The picture was circulated on social media ahead of second T20 International between India and South Africa at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday.
The picture was first shared by Dowarah on his official Twitter handle on Saturday.
He captioned his post, “Best of luck. Ek century banta hein (One century is a must). @ImRo45.”

Although, this was a generous gesture by the commissioner to wish Rohit Sharma best of luck before the match, but this did not go down well by several internet users and they mistook the picture and thought that Rohit Sharma was arrested right before the T20I match on Sunday.
