New Delhi: Shillong’s Deb Arti Chakravorty has gone viral on social media after she got her 50-year-old mother married for the second time. After the death of her father, her mother, Moushumi Chakravorty was living alone. Debarati asked her mother many times to get married and finally at the age of 50, she agreed. She also shared the pictures of the wedding on her social media handles, which went viral on the internet.
Deb Arti has told in an interview with a media house that her father was a doctor in Shillong and he passed away in his childhood while her mother’s age was also very less. She said that after her father’s death, her mother took her to live at her grandmother’s house and started teaching there. Deb Arti said that she always wanted her mother to find a life partner for herself, but her mother has been worried about her.
She also told that after the death of her father, there was a dispute in the family regarding the property and her mother was stuck in all these things. It took a long time to convince her mother for a second marriage. Deb Arti said that this year she got married to Swapan from Bengal and is now happy after her marriage.

Moushumi got married in March 2022 and her daughter played the role of her bridesmaid. Deb Arti also shared an Instagram reel on her mother’s three-month wedding anniversary. Even social media star Sara Arfeen Khan appreciated the mother-daughter duo for the step.
