New Delhi: Traveling by plane is as higher as its altitude. If you don’t travel by air, you may associate the expensive tickets with a peaceful and elegant journey, brought to you by the cooperation of well-mannered passengers and sensible staff.
But can you be more wrong? We don’t think so. It’s just a matter of time before Indians gained notoriety for being the worst flyers. Be it the pissing incident or altercation with air hostesses, these viral fights showed the ugly face of air travel.
Such “flight fights” attract attention like no other and get viral like wildfire. Let’s check out some famous mile-high brawl incidents from India, her neighbor, and beyond.
1. WWE in Bangkok to Kolkata flight
The incident took place on 26 December on a Thai Smile flight that was going to Kolkata from Bangkok.

In the viral video, we can see at least 4 passengers throwing punches, slaps, and kicks at each other. The helpless air staff just stands in the corner, too scared to step into the brawl.
2. Pilot vs Actor
Aarya Babbar is a Punjabi-Hindi Actor who was traveling on Go First (Go air) airline in February. The pilot alleged that Babbar made fun of him by saying “ye kya Chalaega” (How will he be able to fly the plane).

Babbar defended himself by saying he was only talking to his friend but the pilot got rightfully offended. The actor refused to let the altercation peacefully and told the pilot this won’t go down easy. He captioned the video “sensitive pilot.”
Netizens were divided over this incident. Some thought the actor is arrogant while others questioned the pilot calling a passenger into the cockpit over a personal matter.
3. “Not your servant” Indigo Air Hostess Vs Passenger
Another viral incident from last year’s December Istanbul to Delhi flight, where a passenger and an air hostess indulged in a war of words.

The argument started over food but quickly turned ugly with both parties yelling at each other. The air hostess angrily stated at the end, “we are not your servants, you made my crewmate cry.”
Then followed a string of back-to-back shut-ups. Many people resonated with the air hostess that she is also an employee and buying an air ticket doesn’t mean you expect servitude from the crew.
4. Pakistani Passenger strips mid-air
This incident took place on a PIA flight to Dubai in September last year. Imagine this: You are seated peacefully in your airplane and out of nowhere there appears a man in just his undershirt who starts to kick the airplane’s window.

This man also laid on his stomach on the passage between the two seat rows. He misbehaved with the crew and other passengers. In the end, he was deported back to Pakistan.
5. Passenger punches air staff over coffee

This unruly passenger named Alexander Tung Cuu Le landed a punch in the back of the head of an air crewmate over coffee. This incident took place in American Airlines Flight 377 in September.
As he walks back after punching the crew mate, he gets disgusted looks from other passengers. Thankfully, he was arrested upon landing as well.
