Viral clip of a standing King Cobra stuns the web (VIDEO)

Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service officer known for posting unique wildlife footage, recently shared a terrifying video of a King Cobra, piquing the curiosity of internet users.
“The king cobra can practically “stand up” and look a full-grown person in the eye,” he wrote in the video. When confronted, they have the ability to lift up to one-third of their body off the surface.

A big King cobra is visible in the video standing upright with its head lifted, peering over a swampy floor. Since being shared on Monday, the video has received over 150,000 views on Twitter, as well as a variety of reactions.
