Viral Pics: From Mahatma Gandhi to BR Ambedkar, AI artist creates ‘selfies from the past’

New Delhi: AI art has emerged as the newest viral internet sensation. Artificial Intelligence can instantly generate prompt-based images, becoming the fastest way to visualize human imagination on a canvas.

AI Artist Jyo John Mulloor made the most of this technology and shook the internet by generating ‘selfies from the past.’

He shared two different sets of photos on his Instagram handle, each depicting selfies taken by icons of the history from each era.

In the first set, there were Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther, Abrahan Lincon, and Albert Einstein among other notable figures. The ‘selfie from the past’ is not a single-person selfie but a group photo.

AI artist Jyo John Mulloor revealed that he used a software called Midjourney to create hyperrealistic images. He then used photoshop to finalize the images.

Sharing the stunning AI art, he wrote in a humorous manner, that he has discovered an old hard drive, and found these selfies sent by his friends from the past.

His AI art has left the Internet in awe, gathering as many as 50k likes in total.

“I love that you included Dr. BR Ambedkar,” wrote a user.

Another wrote, “The joy on famous people’s faces shows that they are human, lovely work.”

Jyo John Mulloor used a similar concept back in January when he created selfies taken by early humans, indigenous people, Cleopatra and Jesus Christ.
