Pak, a hub of terror? Minister Hina Rabbani blames India, gets befitting reply from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (VIDEO)

Hina Rabbani said that the statesmanship required to resolve the Indo-Pak issue was there in ‘bits and pieces’ earlier but was ‘missing’ currently.

New Delhi: Indian spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar got into a discussion with Pakistan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, on India-Pakistan relations at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. The spiritual leader gave a behoving reply to the Pakistan cabinet minister as she questioned India’s ‘statesmanship’ to resolve the issue.

Hina Rabbani said that the statesmanship required to resolve the Indo-Pak issue was there in ‘bits and pieces’ earlier but was ‘missing’ currently. Replying to this, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said that he sees a lack of statesmanship from Pakistan’s side. He added that India has good relations with other neighbours including Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka and that India is willing to be a part of Pakistan’s development.

Hina Rabbani also questioned PM Narendra Modi and said that the Balakot strike was done to win an election in their country, to which Sri Sri Ravi Shankar replied by saying that the world knows who is aiding terrorism to grow. He added that in 2014 PM Modi invited former Pak PM Nawaz Sharif to his swearing-in ceremony.

The Pakistan minister alleged that with the introduction of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), PM Modi has affected India’s ‘secular image’. In disagreement, the Indian leader replied that initiatives like abolishing Triple Talaq have helped the minority. Giving a befitting reply he said that Pakistan levelling such allegations does not make sense and minorities are suffering in their country.

Talking about CAA, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said that it has ‘nothing to do with Muslims in India’.

World leaders got together at the WEF in Davos to discuss upon issues like the financial crisis, climate, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, USA’s Inflation Reduction Act and others.
