New Delhi: A PAN card is the most valuable document of a citizen of the country. Sometimes when we change our address mobile number or bank account, we also need to get those details updated on our PAN card. If you don’t get our details updated on our PAN card, we end up struggling with many issues. So it becomes important for us to get our details updated on the PAN card so that we don’t end up struggling and running from one building to another to get our details updated. Today we’ll guide you with some simple steps to get your PAN card updated.

You can visit the site NSDL PAN or UTIITSL website to update the details on your PAN card. You will have to first write the request for correction along with a scanned copy of your original documents which are being asked. The request for correcting the details on your PAN card will usually take 15-30 days. You’ll receive notifications on your registered e-mail about any mismatch or document if at all they are needed.

By Following some simple steps you can correct your PAN card online:

First visit the NSDL website

Now click on the PAN correction or change in PAN link

Select the changes that you wish to make in the existing PAN card, then take a copy of this form

You will also receive an acknowledgement number after submitting the request

You will be able to track the status of your request with the help of this acknowledgement number.

After making necessary changes in the correction form, you can click on the submit form option and submit your form

You will be notified through e-mail after a few days about the status of your request
