You can visit the site NSDL PAN or UTIITSL website to update the details on your PAN card. You will have to first write the request for correction along with a scanned copy of your original documents which are being asked. The request for correcting the details on your PAN card will usually take 15-30 days. You’ll receive notifications on your registered e-mail about any mismatch or document if at all they are needed.
By Following some simple steps you can correct your PAN card online:
First visit the NSDL website
Now click on the PAN correction or change in PAN link
Select the changes that you wish to make in the existing PAN card, then take a copy of this form
You will also receive an acknowledgement number after submitting the request
You will be able to track the status of your request with the help of this acknowledgement number.
After making necessary changes in the correction form, you can click on the submit form option and submit your form
You will be notified through e-mail after a few days about the status of your request
