PM Modi, BJP leaders greet Amit Shah on his birthday, Assam CM shares a throwback pic

Shah has been a close associate of PM Modi for over 3 decades and is considered to be the pivotal strategist behind the party’s electoral success

New Delhi: On his 58th birthday, wishes pour in for union home minister Amit Shah from all directions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished for his health on the occasion saying that the latter has been making tremendous efforts for the progress of the country. PM lauded Shah’s work in reforming the crucial cooperatives sector, hoping he lead a long life in “service of the nation”.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh greeted the latter with well wishes, saying that he carries out every role assigned to him with a great sense of responsibility and that he is work in a “dedicated manner” to strengthen the internal security of the country.

Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Bhupender Yadav also extended their birthday wishes to Shah on social media.

Though, it was Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s birthday message for Shah that stood out as he dropped a throwback pic of the latter, saying he has always stood firmly by PM Modi’s side and has played a significant role in the rise of BJP.
