New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi attended the India Today Conclave and addressed the public meeting. He noted the Centre’s work in the spheres of startups and infrastructure, which contributed to India’s growth. Apart from the government schemes implemented in the past, PM Modi talked about the works done by the government in 75 days of 2023.
He spoke on the theme of ‘The India Moment’ and counted the nation’s achievements in every sphere. He noted that in 2023, from Mumbai getting a metro rail connection and Shivamogga getting a new airport to India winning two Oscars and U-19 Women’s World Cup, India has achieved in every sphere. He added that Global Millets (Shree Anna) Conference and the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline event today are also part of the development done by the government.

On India Momemt, he added that the statues stolen from India are being returned and this is due to the performance depicted by the nation.
Taking on the previous governments, he said that there were headlines about the government doing corruption and now the news is about the corrupt being punished. He compared that there was news about Naxalism and violence and now the news is about peace.
Indirectly taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s remarks in London, he said that there are talks about India in a negative light and some people are putting the ‘kala teeka’ to India. He said that development under Indian democracy hurts some people.

He said that there was no property in women’s name, but most of the homes granted to the poor by the BJP government are registered under joint names. PM Modi cited World Bank’s report to cite the Property Rights problem across the globe, while India is taking a lead in solving it under PM Swamitva Yojana.
Talking about the human touch in governance, he said that the government has taken the development to remote villages and the North-East region. Now government officials regularly visit the north-east and the PM has also been there more than fifty times.
