New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet the American president Joe Biden on Monday to review the ongoing bilateral cooperation. The meeting will be held virtually.

The latest development was confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Sunday. During the meeting, both the leaders will discuss the recent developments in South Asia, the Indo-Pacific region, and global issues of mutual interest.

According to the ministry, the virtual meeting will enable both sides to continue their regular and high-level engagement. The meeting will also help both countries to strengthen their bilateral ties and global strategic partnership.

The statement released by the White House said, ”President Biden will continue our close consultations on consequences of Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine and mitigating its destabilizing impact on global food supply and commodity markets.”

Notably, PM Modi had met President Joe Biden in March during the Quad summit.
