New Delhi: Congress leader Manish Tewari on Friday explained that Prime Minister Narendera Modi was within the range of Pakistan’s artillery when he was on the flyover during his visit to Punjab’s Ferozepur for 15-20 minutes on Wednesday.
When it comes to PM Modi’s security, it cannot be compared with someone else.
He said that the highway where PM Modi’s vehicle was stopped is just 10 kms away from India-Pakistan border.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister was on his way for an election rally, was stopped on a flyover after his convoy was blocked.
PM Modi was scheduled to visit Ferozepur on Wednesday to lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 42,750 crore.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Home Ministry said in a statement that PM Modi landed at Bathinda on Wednesday morning from where he was to go to the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala by helicopter.
Due to rain and poor visibility, the Prime Minister waited for about 20 minutes for the weather to clear out.
