New Delhi: In the wake of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) summoning Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for questioning in the alleged excise policy corruption case, Delhi Deputy CM in a series of Tweet said that they are preparing to arrest him.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will be going to the central agency’s headquarters today, he confirmed with his tweet.

Manish Sisodia said that he will go and fully cooperate with the CBI as they had called him to the headquarters. This comes after CBI after raided his  house for 14 hours and searched his bank account and also his village.

Earlier, the enforcement agencies had conducted searches on Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia’s official residence among several other places in connection with the alleged corruption in the implementation of Delhi’s excise policy in August.

“They are preparing to arrest me by making a completely fake case against me. I was to go to Gujarat for election campaign in the coming days. These people are losing Gujarat badly. Their purpose is to stop me from going to Gujarat election campaign.” 1/N

“A completely false case has been made against me. Red key at my house, found nothing, looked at all my bank lockers, found nothing, went to my village and checked everything, found nothing. This case is completely fake.”
