When PM Modi was stuck at flyover in Punjab due to security lapse

New Delhi: National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, JP Nadda attacked Congress government in Punjab after protestors were allowed to the Prime Minister’s route on Wednesday. This happened after DGP assured SPG that the route was clear.

He said that there was a major security lapse, which  is extremely worrisome.

JP Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to launch major development projects worth thousands of crores for Punjab, bus was disrupted.

We will not let such cheap mentality hinder the progress of the state and will continue the effort for the development of Punjab, he said.

He also said that Punjab Chief Minister Channi made the situation worse by not only refusing the phone call but he even refused to address the matter or take any action to solve the issue.

Prime Minister was stuck on a flyover for 15-20 minutes which shows a major lapse in the security of PM.

Dr Harsh Vardhan also quoted JP Nadda’s Tweet and said that “anti-vikas lobbies” will be rejected by the people.

It was also found that when the PM Modi’s convoy reached a flyover, the road was blocked by some protesters.

Also, the Union Home Ministry has sought a detailed report from the Punjab government.

According to GOI, this is one of the biggest lapse in security of any Indian Prime Minister in recent years.

The announcement about PM Modi not attending the rally was made by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya from the stage.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi was welcomed by Manpreet Singh Badal.
