New Delhi: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 40-year-old man committed suicide by shooting himself with his 32 bores licensed gun. What’s more shocking is the fact this happened just hours after he donated blood at a camp.

The person in question also left behind a suicide note. The incident happened in the Faridkot district of Punjab.

The man, identified as Pramod Sharma, ran a business at the food grain mandi in Faridkot and was reportedly disturbed over rising debts and lack of funds.

The business was a combined venture between his father & uncle, however, recently it was divided among the two brothers.

Pramod Sharma before shooting themself also recorded a video and did Facebook Live. He also left behind a suicide, in which he has reportedly blamed family members & relatives for pushing him into a debt trap.

Before killing himself, he reportedly narrated the pain & mental stress that he was going through.

The police have seized the letter and are investigating the matter. DCP Ramandip Singh told media persons that all angles are being probed and the accused are being brought for questioning.

His body has been sent to Faridkot medical college for post-mortem.

Interestingly, he visited a blood donation camp in the morning and donated his blood.

What transpired in between is a matter of probe.
