New Delhi: After recuperating from cancer, a dog from the Punjab police canine team has returned to duty. According to the police, the Labrador participates in anti-sabotage checks and has assisted them during operations, according to news agency ANI.
In a video released on Twitter by ANI, the dog, Simmy, appears to be getting out of a vehicle and strolling around while police officers hold her leash.

Simmy had been battling cancer for a long period, according to Harjit Singh, Superintendent of Police, Faridkot, but has recently returned to her job after her health improved. He said that the dog had assisted authorities in seizing intoxicated substances from a foreigner.

During her tenure, she and the police have sent criminals to jail in huge-scale operations. The police agency has given this dog special training to catch offenders. It has also aided authorities in many murder and drug-trafficking investigations.

It should be noted that the Punjab Police Department has directed that facilities such as food and drinks, coolers, special meals, and medicines be given. She is also granted a unique vehicle to accompany him on any case or task, as well as two police officers. Head Constable Kulbir Singh looked after her, allowing her to combat an incurable sickness like cancer.

Every evening, SSP Harjit Singh of the Faridkot district would visit to her room and check about his condition. District SSP Harjit Singh stated on this occasion that our police force has three dogs. And one of these dogs, Simmi, had a severe condition similar to cancer, but the police agency treated him and he is now all right. He claimed that the police agency had given this dog special training to catch crooks.
