Punjab: Sangrur MP stirs row, says ‘if Khalistan made, South Asia will never have nuke war’

Islamic Pakistan has nuclear weapons. Hindu India has nuclear weapons. China has nuclear weapons. Khalistan will become a buffer state for these three countries. As a result, there will never be a nuclear war in South Asia,” LS MP Simranjeet Singh Mann told media.

New Delhi: Days after his election as Member of Parliament (MP) from Sangrur constituency, Simranjit Singh Mann has sparked a major row by making pitch for Khalistan.

Speaking to media, he said that Khalistan will be advantage in bringing peace to South Asia.

“If Khalistan is made, it would avert the possibility of a nuclear war in the South Asia, as the present geopolitical scenario presses the need for such an arrangement,” he said.

He also attacked the Centre over persistent stand-off with China at the Line of Actual Control and said that government must answer whether they can keep the country boundaries intact.

Time to time, reports have surfaced about Chinese aggression along the line of actual control. Opposition have lambasted Modi government over ceding Indian territory to PLA troops, a claim categorically denied by the Centre.

“First, they (the Centre) should answer whether they can keep India intact or not. If there is a demand for Khalistan, it is fine. They are giving our land to China. If Khalistan is approved, a buffer state will be created.
