Rahul Gandhi ‘stumped’ by question on violence, takes long pause; VIDEO surfaces, reactions follow

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Cambridge session on ‘Ideas of India’ made headlines not just in United Kingdom but also back home. BJP took objection to his potshots at Modi govt from foreign soil but Congress shot back saying that he was only elaborating on existing ‘ground situation’.

Rahul’s another talk session, said to be from same place, is circulating on social media, where the Congress leader could be seen talking long pauses and probably finding it difficult to reply.

In the video posted by BJP IT cell in-charge Amit Malviya, an interviewer asks Rahul a question about violence to which the Congress leader took too long to reply.

“How have you envisioned the compact between violence and non-violence in Indian society?”, was the question posed to Rahul.

The video has gone viral on the social media and is drawing huge interest among netizens as they find it amusing & funny too.

BJP mocks Rahul for ‘going blank’

Reacting to the video, the BJP mocked the Congress leader for taking long pauses while replying to a question on violence.

“Please do a scripted conversation with a journalist for max impact,” Amit Malviya said in a satirical jibe.

How Twitterati reacted

Congress has defended Rahul’s onslaught on the Modi government and even hit out at BJP for ‘not seeing inwards and not doing introspection’ despite chaotic situation all across.

However, this latest video of Rahul Gandhi has given netizens a chance to deride & taunt the former party president.
