New Delhi: In a shocking development, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s office in Wayanad was vandalized on Friday allegedly by the Students Federation of India (SFI) activists.
The ransacking of Rahul Gandhi’s office was carried out reportedly by SFI, the student wing of CPI (M), who barged into the premises and damaged chairs & properties inside the office.

In the video, the goons can be seen roughing up & beating up those present at the office premises.
The Indian Youth Congress claimed that the goons of SFI climbed the walls of Rahul’s Wayanad office and vandalized it.
Rahul Gandhi is a Member of Parliament from Wayanad in northern Kerala.
Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal told press that the SFI workers forcefully entered the office of Rahul Gandhi and thrashed the staff also. He also accused the police of being a mute spectator while goons vandalized the office premises. The reason behind the attack is not yet known.
“At around 3 pm, a group of SFI workers and leaders forcefully entered the office of Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi. They attacked office staff, Rahul Gandhi’s staff brutally,” KC Venugopal said.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor also shared a video clip showing the ransacking of Rahul Gandhi’s office in Wayanad. Tearing into the CPI(M) government, he demanded answers from Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and slammed it for lawlessness in the state.

Tagging Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, Tharoor asked “Is this their idea of politics?”
Meanwhile, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has denounced the violent attack on Rahul’s office in Wayanad and assured that culprits will not be spared.
“In our country, everyone has the right to air their opinions and protest democratically. However, that shouldn’t result in an excess. It is a wrong tendency. Strict action will be taken against the culprits,” Kerala CM tweeted.
