Ghaziabad News: After a lot of speculation on the launch date, the rapid X train will finally kick off from next week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to flag off the train around the commencement of the Navratri festival. This will be the first train which will be driven by female pilots. As the services of the train are likely to begin, authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure all special security arrangements are in place especially for the elderly and disabled passengers to reach the platform.

Passengers of the Delhi-NCR region have been eagerly waiting for the operations of the train to begin for a very long time. NCRTC officials were busy looking after the security arrangements and all other features of the train before the flag-off ceremony by PM. The platform has all the Modern facilities for all types of passengers like escalators and lifts to move around the platform. All the stations will have washrooms and drinking water facilities. Authorities have also arranged separate facilities for changing diapers of toddlers at the stations. As the train services will begin, many passengers will be able to save a lot of time travelling on the train. Let’s take a look at the features of the Stations –

Sahibabad Station- station will have three entry and exit gates. The station is over 215 meters long and 25 meters wide. Special screen doors have been installed on the platforms for the safety of the passengers. The stations will have 3 levels, ground, concourse and platform. One entry and exit gate has been made towards the Sahibabad bus stand. The second gate is made towards Vasundhara and the third gate is made towards the Sahibabad Industrial area.
Ghaziabad- The Highest station of the corridor- Being the highest station of the corridor, its height from the ground is 26 meters. This station has four levels. To move from the concourse to the platform level, six escalators and three lifts have been installed in the station. This station has five entry and exit gates.
Guldhar Station: This station is built near Rajnagar and Rajnagar Extention. Commuters of Rajnagar, SanjayNagar and Neeti nagar will benefit from this route. This station will have 2 entry and exit gates. The station will have 4 escalators and four lifts for the benefit of the passengers.
Duhai Station: This station will benefit students as this station is close to many IT institutions. This station is built before the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Duhai Depot: There are two entry and exit gates in this station. This station is 150 meters long and with 15 meters width. One lift is also built at the entry and exit of the station.
