New Delhi: While the debate & anger rages over BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s alleged insulting remarks on Prophet Muhammad, the sidelined leader has found support from party MP Sadhvi Pragya.
The BJP MP came out in support of Nupur Sharma and said that she stands solidly behind her, even if means doing rebellion against the party.
Sadhvi took to Twitter to extend support to Nupur Sharma and tweeted, “If telling the truth is rebellion, then by that coin, I am also a rebel.”

Nupur Sharma & Naveen Jindal were suspended & expelled from the party after their alleged derogatory remarks left the community enraged.
The BJP MP further asserted that India belongs to Hindus and Sanatam Dharma wil stay here. She also slammed the non-believers and said that those issuing death threats must be exposed.
“These non-believers have always done so. Like Kamlesh Tiwari said something he was killed. Someone else (Nupur Sharma) said something and they also received a death threat. They distort our gods and goddess and make films about them. They have been doing this for years… That shows their mentality”, said Sadhvi on death threats to Nupur Sharma.

“This is Bharat (India). India belongs to Hindus and Sanatana Dharma will stay here. It is our responsibility and we shall do so.”
Nupur recently registered complaint with Delhi Police that she and her family was receiving death threats from unknown people.
Many rationalists have also batted for ‘forgiving’ Nupur over the insult to Prophet. They argue that Nupur has already atoned for her controversial remarks and has been rightfully punished by the party and hence she deserves a pardon. In contrast to this, there have been numerous calls from Muslim clerics and hothead leaders to put her behind bars & also behead for the sin she committed.
