
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday Tweeted for Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who had reportedly collapsed after apparently being shot in the chest while he was delivering a speech in Nara City.
He was soon rushed to the hospital where he is reported to be in “cardiopulmonary arrest.”

Japan PM Fumio Kishida called the incident as barbaric and malicious. He said it cannot be tolerated.
Kishida said that they are trying everything to save him at this moment and doctors are working very hard to save him.

Boris Johnson said that he is saddened by the news about the attack on Shinzo Abe.

According to the reports, he was shot at around 11:30 am.
It is said that he suffered an injury on the right side of neck.
