New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 45-year-old techie allegedly killed his two-year-old daughter claiming that he did not have money to feed his daughter.
According to the Police, the man also tried to kill himself by suicide after killing his daughter.
The body of the two-year-old child was found on Saturday night in the lake of Kendatti village of Kolar taluk.
Police also recovered a blue car on the bank of the lake.
The police arrested the accused for killing his daughter after the investigation.
The accused has been identified as Rahul Parmar, who settled in Bengaluru with his wife two years back. He belonged to Gujarat.
Rahul informed the police that he played, spent time, and hugged his daughter in the car and then killed her as he was not able to feed her.
On November 15, the accused and his daughter had gone missing after which the child’s mother Bhavya filed a missing complaint with the police station.
According to Police, the accused was unemployed for the last 6 months and suffered financial loss in his Bitcoin business.
Earlier, Parmar had lodged a fake theft case with the police. Later in the investigation, it was found that he himself had stolen the jewels from the house and pledged.
Further investigation is underway.
