New Delhi: Exchange of fire comes to an end in Amritsar between Punjab Police and two gangsters. The shoot out was underway between suspects believed to be involved in the killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala.
According to reports four gangster has been shot dead.
Sources said that, two suspects have been identified as Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kussa.
The encounter started at Bhakna village, around 20 kilometres from Amritsar.
It is also said that three policemen have been injured in the ongoing encounter.
Sources said that the area has been cordoned off and people in the area has been asked to stay indoors.
However, SHO Sukhbir Singh, said that it is still not clear about the accused, on whether they are gangsters or militant.

Also, a journalist was injured during the live coverage of the encounter between police and the gangsters.

Who is Mannu Kussa?
It is alleged that Mannu Kussa fired the first shots at Punjabi singer Moose Wala from an AK-47 rifle.
On May 29, Congress leader and Singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead near his village, Moosa, in Punjab’s Mansa district.
