Shraddha like murder in Kashmir, Shabir Ahmad kills 30-year-old woman, chops off her body, later dumps it

Police arrested a man, who has been identified as Shabir Ahmad, said to be a carpenter by profession on the basis of woman’s call details.

New Delhi: Months after the gruesome murder of Shraddha Walker in the National Capital by her live in partner Aftab Poonawala, now another similar incident has been reported from Kashmir.

The Kashmir Police arrested a man for allegedly killing a young woman in her 30s and then chopping her body into several pieces and then dumping them in several places  in Budgam district.

According to reports, the woman in her 30s, who was pursuing bachelor’s in education went missing since March 7.

Police arrested a man, who has been identified as Shabir Ahmad, said to be a carpenter by profession on the basis of woman’s call details.

Crime

The man also confessed to the crime on Saturday.

Ahmad, 45, was arrested after the family of the girl filed a missing complaint.

The accused is married and a resident of Budgam district’s Ompora area.

The motive behind the horrific murder is yet to be revealed.

However, the Police said that the woman’s relatives have alleged that the man had earlier approached her family for marriage but the woman denied his proposal.

Shraddha Walkar was strangled by her live-in partner Aaftab Amin Poonawala last year and then chopped her bodu into 35 pieces and kept it inside a 300-litre refrigerator before dumping the remains in a Delhi forest.

Also, in a similar incident, Sahil Gehlot had allegedly killed his live-in partner Nikki Yadav and stuffed her body into a fridge.
