New Delhi: A disturbing video of Police brutality has come forward from Hyderabad where two lady police officers physically abused a female student during the ongoing protests against the allotment of agriculture university land for the establishment of Telangana High Court.
In the clip, the lady officers can be seen mercilessly throwing the girl to the ground by pulling her hair & dragging her along with their scooter. Later, when the girl gets up and tries to flee, one of the policewomen is spotted restraining her by getting out of the vehicle & continuously holding her by the hair.

Not much after the video of Telangana’s police brutality went viral on the internet, opposition parties including BRS & BJP openly condemned the lady officer’s brutal act & demanded the authorities take strict action against them.
Besides the opposition, netizens also came down heavily on Telangana police over the incident & bashed the involved policewomen on social media. One user wrote, “Really shameful” Another wrote, “This was very bad no safety for ladies”, A third person stated, “Are these policewomen human beings?”

Police Initiate Probe
As per the reports, the incident happened amid a peaceful protest on the campus of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University during which, several members of the student group were voicing their anger against the allotment of university land for the purpose of building the state’s High Court. Meanwhile, Cybrabad police have also swung into action & initiated a probe into the matter.
