Terror module busted in multi-state op: 6 persons including 2 Pak-trained operatives nabbed

New Delhi: In a major operation, the Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday busted a Pakistani terror module and apprehended 6 terror operatives.

The terror operatives were arrested from 3 places including Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. Their arrest assumes significance as this comes just ahead of the festive season and neutralizes their plot to spread terror.

Out of six suspected terrorists, two have been trained in Pakistan, said reports.

According to police, the arrested suspects were planning to carry out targeted killings and blasts across the country.

Explosives and firearms recovered were also recovered from their custody., Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha said.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
