This auto driver takes fare in cryptocurrency, netizens startled; can’t stop tweeting

New Delhi: Cryptocurrencies have taken the global markets by storm. A recent rally in the crypto markets garnered huge attention, especially from new and young investors. As the digital currencies yielded big returns, Bitcoin, in particular, many young investors have been drawn towards this new asset class.

Unlike traditional stock markets, the cryptocurrency markets allow investors to trade for 24 hours, owing to its global presence.

Bitcoin, the most popular cryptocurrency is being officially accepted as a mode of payment. Recently, a European country made Bitcoin, its official currency.

In India too, the cryptocurrency market has garnered enough interest of youngsters, however, it is yet to take off. But, this incident has the potential of taking digital currency to new highs. At a time, when educated youth is mulling & contemplating buying Bitcoins, this auto-rickshaw is accepting auto fare in cryptocurrency.

The picture has gone viral on social media and is being widely shared on many platforms. The auto driver is reportedly from India, however, his location can’t be confirmed.

An auto-rickshaw driver has this paper in his vehicle, which reads, “we accept cryptocurrency.”
