New Delhi: A job with a life partner? Strange right, wherein most companies a person is often suspended or fired if they are found dating within the organization, an IT-based company in Madurai came up with a new and innovative idea of free matchmaking.
If employees agree to get married within the organization, the company will give them a salary hike.
“Weddings of our common colleagues are best get-togethers, where the entire office team hires bus or van and celebrate at the wedding destination”, says an employee.
“We offer 6-8 percent of hike twice a year to the employees”, said founder MP Selvaganesh. He further told that the emplyoees treat him like a brother and he took this initiative because most the people are poor, lack proper outlook, or don’t have parents, in such a case it becomes very difficult to find a perfect match.
He said that employees share a good bond with him which is hard to find these days, a lot of money and time is required to make such bond, and hence he cannot ignore or leave them.
Selvaganesh said that initially, it was hard to find the right employees for the company because the company was named Maduari based and not ‘Sri Mookambika Infosolutions (SMI)’.
“In the initial days employees were struggling and starting their own potential, but once things get back to normal we started demanding excellence from them. Employees get their overdue no matter what”, Selvaganesh said.
Mookambika Infosolutions is offering these services to their 750 employees. This organization was established in 2006.
