Times Now’s anchor makes blunder on air, berates wrong panelist, then backtracks (VIDEO)

Yesterday’s debate apart from pointing fingers at each other was marked by a case of mistaken identity by the host Rahul Shivshankar.

New Delhi: Times Now anchor Rahul Shivshankar’s debate on Ukriane-Russia war created a flutter on social media as he made a glaring blooper on air. His 2 minute clip of the #UkraineLastStand debate is drawing many eyes as he berated the wrong guest which Daniel McAdams, executive director of Ron Paul Institute and Bohdan Nahaylo, chief editor of Kyiv Post.

The debate was on with a lot of shouting and berating, however at one point, Shivshankar instructed McAdams to “take a chill pill.” He then went on for one and a half minutes to explain that if McAdams was “so concerned about Ukraine,” then he should “get off the fence and put boots on the ground” rather than “instead of “lecturing us in India.”

Shivshankar’s rants against McAdams included issues on “colonial agendas,” Iraq and Afghanistan.

At this very moment, McAdams cut Shivshankar from presenting his points. McAdams said, “Dear host, I have not said a word yet. I don’t know why you’re yelling at me.”

In response, Shivshankar said, “I’m not yelling at you. I’m talking about Mr McAdams.”

To which McAdams shouted saying, “I am Mr McAdams!”
