New Delhi: In a harrowing incident, 35 tourists found themselves injured after the bus they were traveling in careened off the road and plunged into a gorge near Marapalam in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor. The calamitous incident occurred during the evening hours on a fateful Saturday, leaving both the victims and local authorities grappling with its aftermath.
The ill-fated bus had embarked on a journey from Ooty, a popular hill station, with a final destination of Mettupalaym in the Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. Tragically, their voyage was marred by the unforeseen catastrophe that unfolded.
