Two accused have been arrested for beheading a man in Udaipur who supported BJP leader Nupur Sharma on social media on Tuesday. 

New Delhi:  Two accused have been arrested for beheading a man in Rajasthan’s Udaipur who supported BJP leader Nupur Sharma on social media on Tuesday. The incident took place in broad daylight in the Maldas street area of the district. The victim of the incident is a Hindu tailor.

After the murder of the man, the duo also released a few videos on Twitter.

The security of the area has also been beefed up. Locals also protested after the incident and shops in the area have been closed following the incident.

In one of the videos on the Internet, the two men also threatened PM Modi’s life.

The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter share their reaction. He tweet in Hindi, ”I am deeply shocked by the henious mureder. This level of Brutalism in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. We must come together to defeat such hate. I appeal everyone to maintain peace and brotherhood.”

On the incident, CM Ashok Gehlot said, ”I condemn the heinous murder of youth in Udaipur…Strictest punishment will be given to those who are responsible for such a heinous crime.”
