Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scinda tests positive for Covid-19, asks close contacts to take precautions and to get checked

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia informed that he tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “My report has come positive in the investigation of Kovid-19 done on the advice of doctors. I request all of you that all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, take precautions or go to the nearest health center and get yourself tested.”

डॉक्टरों के परामर्श पर कराई गई कोविड-19 कि जाँच में मेरी रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है। आप सभी से मेरा अनुरोध है कि पिछले कुछ दिनों में जो भी मेरे सम्पर्क में आएं हैं, वो सभी सावधानी बरतें या निकटतम स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर जाकर अपनी जाँच करवायें।

This is for the second time that Union Minister tested positive for Covid19.

Earlier, he had tested positive for Covid-19 in November 2022.

This comes at a time when India recorded 7,633 new Covid 19 cases and 6,702 recoveries in 24 hours. Howver, the total active caseload stands at 61,233.
