UP police hires drummers before confiscating assets of Rs 80 lakh in Baidaun under Gangster act

District Magistrate of Baidaun Deepa Ranjan ordered to confiscate of the asset of Rs 80 lakh of Sharafat Hussain and his father Ahmad Hussain under the gangster act. 

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath again won the 2022 Uttar Pradesh election. The BJP got 255 seats out of 403 seats while its biggest rival Samajwadi Party won 111 seats. The swearing-in ceremony was held on March 25 in Lucknow’s Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

During the campaign, the BJP leader also asked for a vote on security in the state. While campaigning in UP, Home Minister Amit Shah on January 27 had said, ”No other government can give security to UP and the country except the Narendra Modi-led BJP government.”

After the formation of the new cabinet of the new BJP government, the Uttar Pradesh police have started their crackdown in full swing on those who are involved in criminal activities.

UP police identifies 27 ‘mafias’ who acquired assets via crime, to confiscate their properties

We have seen in the past that many criminals surrendered at the police station. It is reported that 50 criminals have done so in the past two weeks.

Extending its crackdown, the UP police have taken a big action in Baidaun. However, the latest action was very different from the previous actions conducted by the police.

Confiscation of assets done like marriage procession

District Magistrate of Baidaun Deepa Ranjan ordered to confiscate of the asset of Rs 80 lakh of Sharafat Hussain and his father Ahmad Hussain under the gangster act.  The duo has been living in an area of the village that comes under Sadar police station in Mahoba district.

Before the action was completed, the DM and policemen can be seen coming with men playing drums. It appeared like a marriage procession.
