The Central Vista redevelopment plan calls for a new triangular Parliament building, a shared central secretariat, improvements to Kartavya Path

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Central Vista Avenue, situated in heart of the national capital Delhi on Thursday evening.

The revamped Avenue consists of an approximately 101-acre expanse of lawns on both sides of Kartavya Path (renamed from Rajpath) between the stretch from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate.

The redevelopment plan of the iconic location of Delhi calls for a new Parliament building, revamp of Kartavya Path, a new Prime Minister mansion and office, a shared central secretariat, and more.
