New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (May 25, Thursday) virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat Express connecting Dehradun with the National Capital.
This is the first Vande Bharat train that has been gifted to the people of Uttrakhand by PM Modi.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw were also present at Dehradun railway station when PM Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat Express.

This is India’s 18th semi-high-speed train.
Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express
The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will start its regular operations from May 29.
The distance will be covered in 4 hours and 45 minutes and will cover a distance of 302 km.
The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express will be operated on all days of the week, except Wednesdays.

Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express: How much will the ticket cost
The AC chair car will cost Rs 1,065
While the Executive chair car will cost Rs 1,890.
Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express: Departure and Arrival:
The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat train (22457) will depart from Anand Vihar railway station at 17:50 or 5:50 pm, and is scheduled to arrive at Dehradun by 22:35 or 10:35 pm.
Earlier, the people of Odisha got their first Vande Bharat which runs between Puri and Howrah.
