New Delhi: Days after gangster-turned -politician Atiq Ahmad’s brother Ashraf had told reporters that he would be killed within two weeks was shot dead on Saturday late night by three shooters.
Ashraf had earlier told reporters that “Do hafte ke andar tumhe phir sea jail sea kisi bahane sea nikalenge aur nipta denge…”
He had also said that one of the officers from UP Police had said this.
Ashraf said that he was brought to Bareilly jail.
In the video, Ashraf can also be heard saying that Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath understood his pain as fake cases were also filed against him.
Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf was shot dead at point-blank range by three men in the presence of police personnel and journalists.
The incident was captured live on camera.

They were shot when they were been taken to a medical college in Prayagraj for a checkup.
Atiq and Ashraf were held guilty in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case and Atiq was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment in the abduction case of now-deceased Umesh Pal.
Atiq and his brother Ashraf were buried on Sunday (Apri 16) in their ancestral village.
This comes days after Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed, who was also an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case was killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Police.

Atiq was laid to rest next to his son Asad’s grave.
