New Delhi: In an extremely bizarre incident coming to light from Bihar’s Banka district, a man exchanged wedding vows with his mother-in-law months after the death of his wife.
According to the reports, 45-year-old Sikandar Yadav, hailing from Heer Moti Village, started to reside under the same roof with his in-laws post the untimely demise of his wife.
It was during this time that he began to develop feelings for his 55-year-old mother-in-law Geeta Devi and the two started an Illicit affair together.
However, days after staying in a secretive relationship, the duo was eventually caught red-handed by Dileshwar Darve who witnessed them in a private moment with his naked eyes.
Son Marries mother-in-law
After finding out about Sikandar and Geeta’s affair, Dileshwar took both of them to the village’s panchayat where the duo not only acknowledged being in a relationship but also openly confessed their love in the public.
Seeing their seriousness about being with one another, the villagers and panchayat then mutuality decided to marry them off with the father-in-law himself coming forward to take charge of the wedding event’s preparation.
Shortly after, the love birds officially exchanged wedding vows and a video of the same latter also emerged on social media.
In the viral video, Sikandar, in the presence of several cheerful wedding guests, was seen applying sindoor to Geeta Devi’s forehead, thereby turning her from his mother-in-law to his own wife.

Meanwhile, taking to the viral clips’ comment box, netizens also shared their reactions and expressed shock over the incident.
While some called Sikandar’s marriage with mother-in-law Geeta Devi immoral, others raised questions about the woman’s former husband being okay with seeing his wife with his son-in-law.
“How are they even okay with all this”? Wrote one user. Another added, ” Most bizarre marriage I have ever seen” A third user remarked, “Yehi din dekhna baki reh gaya tha.”
