New Delhi: A spine-chilling footage, featuring a guy brutally thrashing his dad recently went viral on the internet.

According to the reports, the incident in the viral clip unfolded back on Feb 16 in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu when the accused, identified as Santosh, launched a full-fledged assault on his dad Kulanthaivelu over some property-related dispute.

The CCTV footage showed how Santosh, after giving his dad a proper beatdown, eventually exited the frame with two other individuals immediately rushing to check on the old man.

However, despite receiving medical treatment, Santosh’s father eventually succumbed to his injuries and passed away two months later on 18 April 2024.

Taking to the video’s comment section, netizens also shared their reactions to the horrifying incident, demanding proper action against the accused.

While some highlighted how heartlessly the guy hammered his own father, others called the authorities to reward him with the strictest punishment possible.

“Most parents bring up their children with no Family values. They teach their children money is important. And End up here.” wrote one user. “Is there any law in India to hang this son till the end.” wondered another.

A third individual penned, “Arrest the son & the court should keep him in jail for the whole of his life. Such inhuman treatment of a father by his son is the degradation. This is really sad.”

Accused Arrested

Meanwhile, the accused Santosh was later nabbed by the Law enforcement authorities who booked him under several relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code 1960 (IPC) including Sec 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapon) and Sec 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt).
