Viral Video: Cops strike woman with stick, chase her away for fighting with husband outside Telangana’s Karimnagar police station

New Delhi: A video of cops beating a lady with a baton in Telangana’s Karimnagar is lately doing rounds on the internet.

The clip features two policemen using their sticks to repeatedly strike the middle-aged lady after she started quarreling with her husband right outside the Police station’s premises.

In the clip, a head constable & ASI are seen trying to stop a lady from physically attacking her husband outside the police station.

However, despite repeated warnings from the police, the lady refuses to back off & continues to charge at her spouse. Later, as soon as she grabs her husband by his shirt’s collar, the ASI starts to strike her with a baton on her legs, compelling her to let go of her husband.

Soon after, the head constable also joins the ASI & the two only stop after successfully chasing the lady away from the area.

All About the Incident

According to the reports, the incident occurred on Saturday when a couple approached Metpalliu Police Station after having a heated showdown with each other at home.

However, all broke loose when they started continuing their fight outside the police station as well, compelling the officers to intervene & use reasonable force to de-escalate the situation.

The woman’s family, meanwhile, is now accusing the ASI& Head constable of misbehaving with her in the viral video. Additionally, they are also requesting the authorities to take appropriate action against the officers for their alleged misconduct.
