New Delhi: In a shocking incident reported from Kerala’s Thrissur district, a girl thrashed a middle-aged man with her slippers after he reportedly tried to touch her inappropriately at a grocery store near the Trishul Medical College area.
As per the reports, the incident took place on Thursday when a young girl walked inside a local grocery store to buy household goods. However, while she was inside the shop, the person sitting at the counter allegedly harassed her sexually by holding her by the breasts. A video of the whole incident is now doing rounds on the internet, receiving mixed reactions from the public.

In the viral video, the infuriated girl, accompanied by two other women, can be seen hurling abuses at the old shopkeeper, reportedly identified as Ali, for allegedly harassing her while he is seen apologizing to her for the same.
Later in the clip, the accused man is heard begging the girl not to go to the police following which, she starts slapping his face with slippers while telling him that she will defiantly file a police complaint against him. The footage also features two other women who are seen encouraging the girl to beat the accused shopkeeper.
Angry Netizens React
Soon after the viral clip started making rounds on the internet, netizens started demanding action against the shopkeeper for harassing the girl by grabbing her breasts.
Taking to the comment section, one user wrote, “Isko Sabak Sikhao” (He must be taught a lesson). Another one said, “He should be immediately booked for sexual harassment” A third user said, “This has become an everyday thing in Kerela”
‘Used To Harass Regularly’
Notably, the woman in the viral video also claimed that the shopkeeper is a habitual offender who has often made her feel uncomfortable by grabbing her hands on numerous occasions. However, it is still unclear whether the woman actually went on to make a police complaint against Ali or whether the matter died down then and there.
