New Delhi: A 17-second video has gone viral capturing a policeman slowly walking with a water bottle and pouring it on sleeping travelers. Startled by the water, passengers, including a young man and an elderly individual, abruptly wake up from their slumber.

The incident drew widespread criticism on social media, with Twitter users denouncing it as inhumane. Indu Dubey, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Pune, issued a statement in response to the incident, acknowledging the inconvenience caused by sleeping on the platform but emphasizing that the handling of the situation was not suitable. The concerned staff has been advised to treat passengers with dignity, politeness, and decency, according to Dubey.
