Viral Video: South Korean Youtuber gets harassed by men in Pune, says, “They really like to hug”

New Delhi: In a shocking incident that unfolded in Pune last week, a South Korean vlogger faced harassment at the hands of random men on Indian soil.

It all happened when a popular YouTuber, identified as Kelly, was recording herself while exploring the streets of the bustling Pune city in India.

However, as she tried to interact with a few locals sitting next to a shop, a group of men encircled her and started getting over-friendly with the Korean vlogger. A video of the same is now doing rounds on the internet, making netizens furious and concerned about women’s safety in the country.

In the video, Kelly, who is standing outside a shop in Pune, can be seen having a friendly interaction with the locals during which three men come from behind and surround her for a quick picture.

Amidst this, one of the three men even goes on putting his arm around Kelly without her consent, leaving her both shocked & uncomfortable.

‘They really like to hug’

Visibly alarmed by the creepy behavior of the Indian dudes, Kelly later walks away from the shop saying, “I was surprised but I had to run away, Bye Bye ok Thanks Namaste.” She then speaks about the recently occurred incident with her fans on the camera and says, “seems like they really like to hug. ”

Getting infuriated over the men’s disgusting behavior around Kelly, one user wrote, “That is Why we hardly see any Foreign Tourists in India.” Another one added, “And just a week before we got the title of safest city to live in India.Sharam karo re kuch toh.. yaise chapri ko arrest kro aur saari zindagi daaldo aandar.”

“Pimps and traffickers have been activated in Pune. Young girls moving around alone in these under-civilized societies is a huge danger for these girls and women”, commented a third individual.
