New Delhi: A disturbing video of a man assaulting his parents while restricting their entry inside his residence for the past year lately went viral on social media.
The clip, reportedly from Kashmir’s Srinagar, features the young guy mercilessly thrashing the elderly couple in broad daylight in the presence of a few people one of whom recorded his actions with his mobile phone’s camera. However, the exact time and date of the incident couldn’t be confirmed.

As the footage opens, the accused, identified as Mohammad Ashraf Wani is seen angrily deboarding his two-wheeler before aggressively charging at his parents Taja Begum and Ghulam Ahmad Wani with footwear in his hands.
Moments later, the furious guy is spotted brutally hammering his old parents by hitting them with the slipper and throwing slaps, kicks, and punches at them.
In no time, Mohammad’s assault causes his dad to collapse to the ground while his mother and another guy stand beside the old man to ensure that he is okay. The clip eventually ends after showing Mohammad swearing and angrily walking toward the man who filmed him thrashing his parents.

Soon after the outrageous video re-emerged on the internet, Srinagar Police swung into action and booked Mohammad Ashraf Wani under various sections of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).
In the meantime, the accused’s father Ghulam, and mother Taja also got an FIR lodged against his son by approaching the local police at Nowgam police station and complaining to the authorities about the autocracies they have been facing at his hands for over a year.
The police department is now investigating the matter, trying to determine the reason that sparked the brawl between Mohhamad and his parents. Additionally, the authorities are also trying to find out why the accused was preventing the aging couple from entering his home.
