New Delhi: It’s always exciting for us to watch stuff related to wildlife as it provides us with a refreshing feeling of being closer to nature.

However, when it comes to the videos showing extremely rare species of animals roaming freely in their natural habitat, one can’t help but wonder about the fascinating beauty of the fauna our blue planet homes. This recently shared video by an Indian Forest Service Officer is a good example of the same.

Rare Black Tigers Spotted in Odisha Forest

In the intriguing video dropped by Forest Service Officer Susananta Nanda, one can see a group of extremely rare & endangered species of pseudo-melanistic tigers having a midnight walk together in the forests of Odisha.

Along with the video, Nanda also dropped a caption that reads, “Nature never fails to surprise us. This is one of the rarest of the rare. A complete Pseudo melanistic tiger family from the forests of Odisha.”

The video was recorded with the help of a special device called a ‘camera trap’ which is used for tracking and collecting data about  Animals’ behavior, population, habitat & other activities in the wild. This digitally powered device comprises a camera linked to a sensor that detects & captures moving objects like Animals and Insects.

Soon after Nanda’s video featuring rare black tigers went viral on the internet, excited netizens took to the comments section and hailed the officer for sharing such a delightful video with them. On Twitter (Now X) user penned, “It would be a treat to the eyes to spot them at their own habitat.”

Another wrote, “Really amazing. A great sight to remember. A rare observation”. A third user added,”Wow! This is unbelievable! How cool! I can’t believe my eyes.”

These Tigers fall into the category of extremely endangered animals with just about 10 (approximately) of them left in Odisha’s Similipal tiger reserve.
