WATCH: Ink attack on farmer leader Rakesh Tikait in Bengaluru

Black ink was thrown on Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait after he faced massive protests in Bengaluru

New Delhi: A major negligence in the security of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait came to light in Karnataka on Monday, wherein a man threw black ink at him during a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan.

The video of this incident has gone viral on social media. Taking action in the matter, the police have taken three persons into custody.

Talking to the media about the incident, Tikait said that no security was provided to him by the local police. He alleged that it was all done with the connivance of the government.

Meanwhile on the socio-political front, Tikait, who led the farmers’ agitation against the three central agricultural laws on the Ghazipur border of Delhi-UP, which lasted for more than a year, now seem to be alone.

Rakesh Tikait’s statements against Yogi and the Modi government threw Rakesh Tikait to the floor, despite repeatedly claiming to be apolitical during the farmers’ movement.

Overall, the Bharatiya Kisan Union was divided on the birth anniversary of the country’s big farmer leader Mahendra Singh Tikait. Tikait’s absurd statements and acts are believed to be behind its distribution.
