Kamal Nath cuts temple-shaped cake: BJP lashes out at Congress leader for hurting Hindu sentiments.

New Delhi: Congress chief and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath have landed himself in controversy after a video of him cutting the temple-shaped four-tier cake that had a saffron flag and an image of lord Hanuman on top has gone viral.

Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath today turned 76 years old but his birthday was celebrated in advance on Tuesday at his house in his assembly constituency Chhindwara district by his supporters and party workers celebrated.

After this, BJP leader and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan accused him of hurting the sentiments by cutting the cake with several religious symbols on it.

Shivraj Sing Chouhan said Congress has nothing to do with devotion to God.

He further said the Party opposed when the construction of Ram Mandir started and this resulted to loss of votes, soon they started remembering Lord Hanuman.

Shivraj Singh said cutting a cake with an image of Lord Hanuman in it is an insult to the Hindu religion and Sanatan tradition.

BJP’s Amit Malviya said that during elections he called himself a Hunuman bhakt and is now he is insulting crores of Hindus by denigrating their deity.

Shehzad Jai Hind also hit out at Congress and called the party as “Anti-Hindu.”
