WATCH: Rahul Gandhi matches steps to tune of ‘Congress Party Re’ song in Gujarat

“The Gujarat model that Modi talks about has two Indias. One for the common people, the other for the rich people”

New Delhi: Assembly polls are set to be held in Gujarat later this year, and all the political parties are busy with their electoral preparations. For the first time in the state, newbie Aam Aadmi Party will also hit the electoral rhythm.

Meanwhile, Congress is trying its best as well to enter the assembly polls with a new approach. Congress MP and former party chief Rahul Gandhi was on a tour of Gujarat on Tuesday, where he addressed the Adivasi Satyagraha rally.

Addressing the public meeting, Gandhi took a fierce dig at BJP and PM Narendra Modi saying, “PM Modi had made fun of MNREGA in the Lok Sabha, but if MNREGA was not there at the time of Corona, then what would have been the condition of the country. At present only 2 or 3 people are running Gujarat. When the Congress government is formed, we will make a Gujarat where everyone will work together.”

“The Gujarat model that Modi talks about has two Indias. One for the common people, the other for the rich people”, he further added.

Apart from attacking his opponents with his strong words, Gandhi also danced to the beats of the party song along with a female MLA Chandrikaben Baria on the stage. A short video clip of Rahul shaking a leg to the tunes of the party song in the local language is going viral on social media.
