New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena spoke with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini amid the water crisis in the national capital, and the latter reiterated that the state is providing water to Delhi "as per the allocated share." In the meeting, Saxena assured her that he would talk to the Haryana government regarding its water supply to Delhi. Notably, the AAP is accusing the BJP government in Haryana of not releasing water in the national capital as per its due share. "Water level in the Wazirabad barrage has dropped and the Munak canal is receiving less water. We have requested LG Saxena to talk to the Haryana government concerning less water being released into the Munak canal," Atishi told ANI after meeting with Delhi LG.
