Most of the people in the national capital had no clue about the state and used to ask me ‘where it is located’

New Delhi: Nagaland’s Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs and state president of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Temjen Imna is again in the limelight for his humourous tone and outstanding Hindi.

After giving Netizens a hearty laugh while compelling the benefits of having ‘small eyes’, the Minister this time is going viral for recalling when he first arrived in Delhi in the year 1999, and further recollecting several taboos that people had then about the far-away rich cultural land of Nagas.

In a fresh viral video, Imna says, “When I first came to Delhi via train in 1999 and get off at the Railway Station, I was amazed to see how the station seemed more populated than that of the entire population of my native state Nagaland. I was shocked beyond belief”.

“Most of the people in the national capital had no clue about the state and used to ask me ‘where it is located’ or if one has to get a visa to land there”, he added.

He further said that some persons even babbled about Nagas eating humans. “They got even more suspicious seeing my appearance”, he added on a lighter note.

“And that’s how I began my journey in Delhi and spend several years there”, Imna could be heard saying at the end of the video.
